About Us

Who we are
Victoria Betta is a chapter of the International Betta Congress (IBC) and we run our group as a subset of the Aquarium Society of Victoria (ASofV).
Our club meet regularly with various types of meetings to share knowledge, show our betta, learn more about fish keeping, breeding techniques and philosophies employed by other members. It's a friendly, inclusive group and welcome visitors to come along to a meeting or show event to see what it's all about.

Check the What's on page for details on the next show, or visit our Facebook page and Discussion Group to join the conversation.

How to join Victoria Betta
As VicBetta is part of the Aquarium Society of Victoria,  once you've visited us a few times as a guest (and like what you see) participants are expected to become members.
Have a look over the  ASV membership form here, as well as access to Victoria Betta meetings, you will also be able to attend ASofV meetings, as well as the EDAS meetings.
If you'd like to know more,  please use the contact form to connect with us directly, or visit our Facebook page.

How to join the IBC
Being an IBC member has many rewards. Upon joining the IBC you will have access to our Technical Assistance Library that consists of numerous and knowledgeable articles, our exclusive forum, our bi-monthly FLARE! publication, store discounts, as well as a private Yahoo List Group called BetterBettas.  Click here for more information on the IBC
